On 17 - 19 January 2007 at the premises of the Regional Office Liberec on 3rd National Conference of quality in public administration, which was designed to assess the competition this year launched the "MV Departmental Prize for Innovation in territorial public administration in 2006."

Ministry of Interior announced a second edition of "Departmental Prize for Innovation in MV territorial public administration in 2006. Its purpose was to reward innovative new solutions, which could become examples of good practice to inspire other organizations.
